Meet the teamGMC is owned and managed by George Chipp, who qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1977, with a supporting staff of five. Away from work, George is a keen football fan who also enjoys walking as well as being a committed amateur builder with a house extension and a conservatory being his largest projects! Despite such time consuming hobbies, he has been married to Chris since 1972 and they have two children and two grand-daughters. George is supported by client manager Paul Neasham who joined GMC in 2006 and has vast experience having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999. Paul has experience of working as an in-house accountant for a large retail company as well as working in accountancy practice. Magz Peacock has been with GMC since 1997 and is AAT qualified with vast accountancy experience. She is currently on maternity leave following the birth of daughter Amy. Carole Kelly has been with GMC since 2003 after many years of office experience and moving on to gain AAT status. Since joining GMC Carole has become accustomed to working in accountancy practice in addition to her experience in industry. Lynn Yates joined in 2004 and is experienced in all payroll matters, bookkeeping and VAT having previously worked in industry. The first point of contact for clients is usually with receptionist Shirley Rhodes who joined GMC in 2006 after moving from Zimbabwe. How to find usWe are situated at 18 North End, Bedale directly above Barclays Bank and opposite the Market Cross. Free parking is available in the market place and there are two pay and display car parks just a short walk away. |
